Last weekend, the cycling store Rioja Bikes hosted its annual double Social Ride. On the first day, held on Saturday, participants enjoyed a road ride that took them through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the region.
On Sunday, the action continued with an exciting MTB and E-Bike ride, which attracted cycling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
Throughout the weekend, the spirit of community was the true highlight. From the first breath of the Saturday road ride to the final kilometer of the Sunday MTB and E-Bike route, cyclists experienced each moment with the feeling of being part of something bigger than just a bike ride.
The routes were designed not only to enjoy the scenery but also to encourage interaction and teamwork. Even when the weather wasn’t on their side, with the cold being a challenge, the great atmosphere never faded.
Etxeondo, always close to the most authentic cycling events, didn’t want to miss this opportunity and was present, supporting the participants and once again demonstrating its commitment to cycling as a social and enjoyable activity.
This weekend reaffirmed the idea that cycling is much more than a competition: it’s a way to connect, enjoy, and experience the sport as a community. And at Rioja Bikes, the passion for two wheels is lived as a team, where every gathering is a celebration of friendship and cycling.
